Hey Prompt Entrepreneur,
First up thank you so so much to everyone who applied to the AI Workshop Kit and to the first cohort who is starting this Monday.
We’re all closed now - cohort is locked in and I’ve prepared a tonne of stuff for them. Adding you all to the portal today and doors opening Monday.
It’s been an absolutely insane week.
And a good reminder of what happens when you get a lock on what’s valuable.
I know what I’m providing is valuable and thus am happy to talk about it and promote it.
I know that the people in the cohort are going to do very very well.
What has happened to me before - and I’m certain to many of you- is a mismatch.
A mismatch of what you are you are telling your buyers and what you really think.
Basically when you have a product or service that you yourself are not convinced of its value.
When this happens you know deep down it’s not something you should be selling. And that comes across in your messaging, marketing and sales. Every time you go to promote it you feel “wrong”.
Sure you can slap a nice coat of paint on the offer and dress it nicely. A lot of marketing and sales is about this - convincing people to buy something they don’t need or want.
And sometimes you don’t have a choice. If you are selling someone else’s product or service you don’t have control.
But the power of having your own online business is that you CAN build something that you are mega proud of.
Something you know will absolutely make your customers’ lives better.
When this happens marketing and sales becomes so much easier. It becomes your imperative to get the word out because you know how good the darn thing is!
That’s what has happened with me over the last couple of weeks. Selling something awesome that I truly believe in and know will improve the lives of those who join me.
I’ll tell you. It’s a hell of a feeling!
Ask yourself (honestly) is this something you can say about your product or service?
Genuinely. It’s a big question.
If the answer is no then it makes sense to fix this not only because it’s the right thing to do.
But it’ll also make your life so much easier. Marketing something you genuinely want to is 10x easier and more enjoyable than shilling something you know (in your heart of hearts) is a bit crap and you are only pushing to pay the bills.
I’ve done this before. I’m not proud. But it is what it is. No judgement.
Over the last year though I’ve built a business I genuinely want to push. I genuinely want to get into the world. And it’s a sea change.
