A couple weeks ago I hopped on a call with Daniel Vassallo.

If your unfamiliar with his work you may still have heard of the recent sale of his company Small Bets to Gumroad for $3.6M.

We chatted about a number of topics but it kept coming back to community.

Small Bets is a community for entrepreneurs with the express mission of getting them to their first $1000.

We tend to overcomplicate things in business instead of, you know, getting on with it.

Daniel and I chatted about how valuable Small Bets was to entrepreneurs starting out because it gave them a community, a place to ask questions and a supportive group who cheers along with your successes.

It’s too rare in online business nowadays!

And I fear AI will make it even more lonely.

So, you know me…I built something!

Specifically I’m launching an AI Entrepreneurship Group Chat.

Now, this is important.

One thing I got from Daniel Vassello (so you can thank him) is no subscriptions.

I could make more money (a lot more…sigh) by charging a subscription.

I’m not. It’s a one off.

Because, if you are like me, I hate having all those little forgotten $50/month subscriptions chipping away at my bank account.

Also, with a community like this we know that you’ll dip in and out. Life gets in the way. You’ll be studying. You’ll be travelling. You’ll be having kids. You know, all the good stuff. The reason we are building businesses in the first place!

And we don’t want a subscription chipping away in the background whilst you are off living your life. We don’t want the last interaction we have with you to be you cancelling a subscription with me!

So yeah, at least initially, once you are in you are in. Even if we expand it to include talks, workshops, courses etc. you’ll get all that good stuff in your one-off payment.

We may add a subscription later. We’ll see! But right now that’s not the plan. So…take advantage of me whilst I’m generous! Ha!
