Been a big week over at Prompt Entrepreneur HQ.

• We launched the Forge, alternating how I help people with the newsletter moving forward

• I delivered a workshop training to 150 people from a company with a $17bn valuation 😵‍💫 

• Now having a weekend away in Amsterdam (where the workshop was)

Busy busy busy!

The workshop I delivered the other day was all about how to think about AI and what’s the best way to start using it in the organisation.

I’ve delivered talks and workshops before but this was a big one for me. A milestone.

I’m naturally very introverted - I get energy from being alone, not in large groups.

So talking to and managing 150 people for 3 hours is, as you can imagine, challenging!

But it’s very doable. It’s also very profitable once you’ve hit your stride.

I can’t talk specifics but for a 1 hour pre-prepared workshop in London (so I don’t have to travel) the fee starts at £1000 ($1250) for a small group, low end.

If you are an expert this is definitely another income stream you can add to your mix.

I’m going to dedicate next week’s Playbooks to this. Specifically:

• the benefits of doing workshops and presentations. It’s not just money!

• what to make your workshops about, choosing the perfect (marketable) topic that your market will clamour for

• how to structure your workshop easily and effectively. Hint: don’t make the slides first!!!

• finding your first workshop clients and laddering up in size, pay and confidence

• delivering workshops - building your speaking and facilitation skills even if you are a big introvert like me.

On the issue of introversion and getting better at public speaking (even if it’s your absolute worst nightmare) I shot this just after giving the 3 hour long workshop on AI.
