Hey Prompt Entrepreneur,
I had a chat with an entrepreneur the other day who recently shuttered one of her companies.
The reason: distribution.
And not having an audience up front.
Won’t name her but it’s a fascinating story and a reason I’ve seen a bunch of times before.
She’s smart though and knows exactly the next steps: build an audience first!
If you’ve read any of my Playbooks this is one topic I’m boring about. I go on and on and on about how important it is.
In fact the BATON framework I use (Business, Audience, Tribe, Offer, Network) literally has Audience as stage 2 - it’s waaaay before the Offer, actually trying to sell anything.
Over the last year I’ve built an audience of 250,000 on various channels. And that has netted $300,000+ at 90% margin.
The money comes from the audience. There’s no way around that.
Having an audience makes life much much (much) easier.
Got an idea? Ask your audience - they’ll tell you if they want it.
Built a new product? First sales will come from an audience.
Want to build your network? Skip the events and conferences! Become known and people come to you automatically.
Until a year ago I was always behind the scenes - never on camera, never in the spotlight. Until I finally got over myself and darn well started filming and building an audience. It’s been absolutely life changing.
Note: had to add this after writing the rest - my Instagram has FINALLY popped off and started to grow exponentially. Literally a day after writing this email. I’ve got my first video there about to hit 1,000,000 views. Know why? Consistency and not giving up. Basically adding another channel on top of everything I’m discussing here.
Building a following has been a question that comes up again and again in my workshop cohorts. And it’s a great one. How on earth do you get started? How do you grow? What methods should you use? What to talk about?
So many questions!
So I’ve sat down and built a programme to answer all of this.
It’s called the AI Authority Accelerator.
It is specifically to help you become an authority about AI in your industry. To become the go-to person and from that drive inquiries, leads and revenue.
