What a week!
OpenAI and Google both had BIG conferences outlining the future of AI.
In my opinion OpenAI absolutely trounced Google. Embarrassingly so.
In case you missed it we’re getting:
GPT-4o, a newer, better faster model.
real time conversation with emotion detection
a live video assistant we can “facetime” with
The biggy here is GPT-4o.
If you pay for ChatGPT you should alrady have it.
And if you don’t currently pay for ChatGPT you’ll also get it. Basically free users are also being given access to the best model. Pretty cool!
This has led to lots of people asking me if they should cancel their paid subscription. Why pay if the free version has access to the model too?
Short answer: don’t cancel. Free access is rate limited. And in the next few weeks you’ll be getting a lot more cool stuff from ChatGPT.

I don’t cover AI news here in the newsletter. I instead focus on the uses of AI in business and entrepreneurship.
