Hey Prompt Entrepreneur,
First up I wanted to share this video from this week with you:
@iamkylebalmer Is this a stupid idea? AI and automation consultants is a big new business. I’m toying with the idea of putting together a course/commun... See more
I’m working on a new idea - basically teaching you guys how to become an AI expert.
Right now businesses need consultation, advisory and implementation services. They need AI Experts. Stat!
I want to help you:
build an AI consultancy business from scratch
become a known AI expert in your industry niche
grow a client base for retainers and implementation contracts.
It’ll also be valuable for people in job. You can become the “internal” AI expert at your company. An intrapreneur.
I’m thinking this has multiple pillars:
education: upgrade your AI for business skills (via this newsletter, Playbooks, courses, resources etc)
guest speakers
mini-courses
a community to share our journeys
a job board/directory to secure clients
Importantly I want to build this with AI experts. Giving a platform to other AI builders, experts, teachers and more. People like you.
For clarity: this would be separate to my workshop cohort. I’ve launched my AI Workshop Kit to go and provide companies specifically with workshops, charging $1000+/hour. It’s a very specific licensing offer. And that’s going great - within 3 weeks 4 of our students have secured workshops. Woot! (FYI cohort 2 launching August/September - applications open now and we’ll process them in August- link)
What I’m thinking with the AI Expert Consultant programme is wider and more general - it’s not specifically workshops or licensing my IP. It will work really well alongside workshop material licensing. It’s separate and additive.
Right now it’s super early days. I do not know what this AI Expert Community looks like yet.
For that I need your help! I want to make this for you. What I think i valuable won’t necessarily be what you think is valuable. And that’s what is important!
I’ve put together a waitlist + quick survey to start collecting feedback on what you want this to be.
If you think this sounds cool and want to be part of shaping it up then the survey is here AI Expert Community. That’ll also put you on a waitlist so you’ll be first to hear when we open up. Plus we’ll add some “thank you“ gifts for anyone who provides feedback and ideas.
The form again is here.
OK onto other things. It’s finally Summer. Even here in the UK!
I am (shock horror) taking a short break. I’m off to Montenegro next week.
I’m cutting work down to just the cohort students. We'll still have our live session next week - I’ll just have a nicer backdrop this time!
In terms of the newsletter there will be issues as usual next week 8th-13th but no issues the week after. I hope you’ll forgive me this break!
After that we’ll be back to scheduled programming on the 22nd.

🧭 Expert Guide Marketing | AI Business Playbook
In this playbook we’re going to flex our expertise.
We’re covering how to create expert-level guides to educate your prospects and make them customers.
You’ve probably heard the saying “those who can’t do, teach”.
Pretty damn offensive to teachers if you ask me.
It’s a reference to “Those who can, do; those who can’t, teach” from a George Bernard Shaw play, which is actually a (deliberate) misquote of Aristotle.
The OG saying is:
“Those who can, do. Those who understand, teach”
Much better I’m sure you’ll agree!
One of my personal heroes Richard Feynman took it a step further with:
“If you want to master something, teach it. The more you teach, the better you learn. Teaching is a powerful tool to learning.”
The best way to know you’ve absolutely mastered a subject is to be able to teach other people about it.
And this has powerful ramifications when it comes to marketing to an audience.
We’ll cover:
Part 1: Why teach?
Part 2: Breaking down complex topics
Part 3: Written guides
Part 4: Video tutorials
Part 5: Course compilations
It's all in my latest AI Business Playbook.
