Weird week!

I’ve been working maybe too hard and teetering on the edge of burning out a bit!

So I’ve been trying to get a bit of a break to recharge.

At the same time my business partner Harms is moving his whole family from Malaysia to Japan to live there for a while. So cool!

Because of all this it’s been a bit of a slow week!

The universe (or something??) also seems to be conspiring - I started giving my weekly webinar on Thursday evening and my Mac just completely crapped out!

Utter disaster! But thankfully I had the amazing Dani as a co-host to navigate the situation whilst my computer basically melted itself!

Here’s the thing about all this.

It’s fine.

Not every week has to be full steam ahead.

Heck, that’s how I got into a position approaching burnout!

We need rest. We need to recharge. We need down periods.

If you are working on a business do remember this! Don’t wait until the “official” holidays or (like I do!) until you get sick before you take a break.

Plan them in. Even if you don’t feel like you need them.

Missing a day or two or a week doesn’t matter in the long run. What matters is staying in the game for the long run - which requires you to look after yourself!

For those of you celebrating Thanksgiving hopefully you’ve had some rest and recuperation (and obscene amounts of turkey!).

For those who don’t such a holiday make sure to carve one out for yourself!

Is that a turkey / carving joke? Unintentional but could be! But I’m in lazy mode today so let’s leave it at that! 😂
