Hey Prompt Entrepreneur,
We are rapidly approaching mid-year.
Scary! That whole adage about time speeding up as you age? They weren’t joking!
If you are a youngling it’s true. Use your time well!
I’ve been back a week from Asia and trying to settle back in. Been tricky but almost there! Back on the writing and video production, back on the launches and workshops.
However I feel like I’m behind…
The year is half done and I’m not feeling like I’ve completed half the work for the year. If that makes sense?
Maybe it’s just me. But I chatted to a couple of people about this on Friday and they were feeling the same. Lots of plans. But lots of life “getting in the way”.
But here’s the thing. That’s the important stuff. That’s why we do the work.
We should work to live, not live to work. As trite as that sounds.
In that spirit I’m spending this Sunday learning to fight with a longsword, living a medieval fantasy life at least for half a day!
Then booked in sailing lessons, more improv classes, a trip to a French castle for a birthday and a rooftop entrepreneur’s dinner.
All for June! 🤣
All of this means having tight systems and processes in place. Systems and teams working on Prompt Entrepreneur even when I’m hefting a longsword…
The funny thing is the more time I spend on myself the tighter these systems need to be. Weird but true.
It’s a forcing function…when you build for yourself you need external pressures for efficiencies. Very essential when you have your own business, even if that seems perverse.
So…take time off. Book in fun things.
