Hey Prompt Entrepreneur,

It’s been a big week!

  • Been pushing on Tiktok and just crossed 35k follower

  • I was off in Geneva delivering AI training to a big NGO.

  • Consistently hitting and exceeding revenue targets

  • Prepping an exciting refresh of our main course and community

  • Attended a kick-ass entrepreneur dinner here in London and met some real rockstars

  • Asked to pitch for an international speaking event with a big US tech company (update after writing this - just heard I got it! 🎉🎉🎉)

Basically: everything is going well. On the right track.

All sounds great right?

Well - it hasn’t always bee this way. Quite the opposite.

Over the last 15 years or so I’ve set up and grown countless companies. One day I need to actually write them all down. It’ll be a hell of a list!

It’s probably close to 30-40 companies and ideas.

Only 2-3 have “worked”. The rest crashed and burned.

Now Prompt Entrepreneur is (fingers crossed!) is another success.

That’s obviously great and I’m very proud of the fact.

But it’s important to remember that it’s a 10% hit rate. Lower.

This is entrepreneurship’s dirty secret:

  • Most ideas don’t get off the ground.

  • Most ventures don’t get to revenue.

  • Most businesses fail to scale.

This is just part of the game.

The problem is that most people only take one swing.

They try one business idea. It craps the bed. They quit.

If it’s a 1/10 chance of working then chances are your first (and only) attempt will fail. That’s just the maths.

So you have to keep going.

And going.

And going.

Until something hits.

And it will hit. As long as you keep turning up and doing the work.
